Last Updated: August 16, 2026
Welcome to Wavloz IRCL — India Robotics Combat League ("WAVLOZ," "IRCL," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wavloz IRCL website, member portal, registration systems, competition services, cohort directory, communications features, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing the Platform, creating an account, registering a team, submitting an entry, participating in an IRCL event, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform or participate in IRCL.
Wavloz IRCL is a robotics competition platform operated by WAVLOZ. The league brings together students, universities, robotics clubs, startups, makerspaces, independent builders, and other eligible participants for robotics competitions and engineering challenges.
IRCL may include, among other disciplines: combat robotics, technical robotics racing, engineering challenges, robotics demonstrations, innovation and design competitions, and other disciplines announced by WAVLOZ.
Competition formats, categories, rules, schedules, venues, eligibility requirements, and technical specifications may vary by season and event.
Participation is subject to the eligibility requirements published for the relevant IRCL season or event.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or registering for a competition.
If an event has age, educational, geographic, technical, or other eligibility requirements, you are responsible for ensuring that you satisfy those requirements.
WAVLOZ may request documentation or other evidence to verify eligibility.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel participation where eligibility requirements are not satisfied.
Certain Platform features may require you to create a member account.
You agree to: provide accurate and current information; maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; not share your account with another person; not impersonate another individual, team, organization, or entity; notify WAVLOZ if you believe your account has been compromised; and maintain only the accounts permitted under the applicable IRCL rules.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from unauthorized access that you promptly reported to WAVLOZ.
WAVLOZ may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable competition rules.
Teams must be registered according to the requirements published for the relevant competition.
Where applicable, the team captain or designated representative is responsible for: submitting accurate team information; providing accurate information about team members; ensuring that team members satisfy eligibility requirements; communicating official information to team members; ensuring that the team complies with competition rules; and obtaining necessary permissions from team members.
Submitting a registration or expression of interest does not automatically guarantee acceptance into an event.
Registration is considered confirmed only when WAVLOZ provides official confirmation.
WAVLOZ may limit the number of participating teams or entries.
Participation in IRCL is subject to the official rules, technical regulations, safety requirements, event instructions, and other policies published by WAVLOZ.
The official rulebook for the applicable season or event forms part of these Terms.
Where a conflict exists between these general Terms and a specific competition rule, the specific competition rule will generally govern the competition-related matter.
Participants are responsible for reviewing the latest applicable rules before competing.
WAVLOZ may update competition rules when reasonably necessary for safety, fairness, technical requirements, scheduling, venue requirements, or operational reasons.
Robotics competitions may involve heavy machinery, high-speed moving components, batteries, electrical systems, mechanical weapons, sharp components, heat, projectiles, and other potentially hazardous equipment.
Participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with robotics activities.
All participants must comply with applicable safety procedures and instructions from WAVLOZ officials, event staff, referees, judges, venue operators, and safety personnel.
WAVLOZ may inspect robots and equipment before or during an event.
A robot, machine, component, or team may be prohibited from competing if WAVLOZ reasonably determines that it presents an unacceptable safety risk.
Failure to comply with safety requirements may result in: removal from an event; disqualification; suspension; loss of ranking or results; removal of equipment from the competition area; or other disciplinary action permitted under the applicable rules.
WAVLOZ officials, referees, judges, and authorized event personnel may make decisions concerning: eligibility; technical compliance; safety; match outcomes; scoring; penalties; disqualification; rankings; event procedures; and other competition matters.
Competition decisions will be handled according to the appeal or review procedures published for the relevant event.
Unless the applicable event rules provide otherwise, decisions made by authorized competition officials are final.
Event dates, venues, schedules, categories, match times, and other event details may change.
WAVLOZ may postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or cancel an event where reasonably necessary, including because of: safety concerns; venue availability; technical problems; government restrictions; weather or natural events; force majeure; insufficient participation; operational requirements; or other circumstances beyond WAVLOZ's reasonable control.
WAVLOZ will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes through the Platform or official communication channels.
If an IRCL event or service requires payment, applicable fees will be displayed before payment is requested.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information.
Once the payment is made, there wouldn't be any way of refunding that amount of money unless it's some kind of issue from the organizers.
WAVLOZ may establish different payment, cancellation, refund, or transfer policies for different events.
No payment should be considered an unconditional guarantee of participation.
You may submit information, photographs, videos, designs, robot specifications, team descriptions, logos, text, and other materials through the Platform ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant WAVLOZ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and adapt that content to the extent reasonably necessary to: operate IRCL; administer competitions; display participant and team profiles; publish rankings and results; promote IRCL; produce event-related materials; maintain historical competition records; and communicate information about IRCL.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the User Content.
You must not upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
The Wavloz name, IRCL name, logos, branding, website design, software, graphics, text, databases, and other materials provided by WAVLOZ are owned by or licensed to WAVLOZ unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit WAVLOZ intellectual property without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Participation in IRCL does not transfer ownership of WAVLOZ intellectual property to participants.
Participants generally retain ownership of their independently developed robots, designs, software, inventions, engineering documentation, and other intellectual property.
Participants are responsible for determining whether their submissions contain confidential information, trade secrets, patented technology, copyrighted material, or other protected information before publishing them through the Platform or competition.
WAVLOZ does not claim ownership of participant inventions merely because they are used in an IRCL competition.
However, the license granted for User Content in Section 10 may allow WAVLOZ to display or use submitted materials for league operations and promotion.
You must use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.
You must not: use the Platform for unlawful purposes; attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems; interfere with Platform security or operation; upload malware or malicious code; abuse registration systems; submit fraudulent information; impersonate another person or organization; harass, threaten, or discriminate against other participants; spam members or misuse messaging features; manipulate rankings or competition systems; attempt to interfere with competition results; circumvent technical or safety restrictions; or use the Platform to facilitate unsafe robotics activities outside applicable rules.
WAVLOZ may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action.
WAVLOZ may suspend or terminate access to the Platform or disqualify a participant or team where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the participant or team has: violated these Terms; violated official competition rules; provided false information; engaged in unsafe conduct; attempted to manipulate competition results; engaged in harassment or abusive conduct; compromised Platform security; violated applicable law; or otherwise materially interfered with the integrity or safety of IRCL.
Where appropriate, WAVLOZ may remove rankings, results, registrations, or other associated records.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Please review the Wavloz IRCL Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
By creating an account or registering for an event, you may receive service-related communications concerning: account activity; registration; competition schedules; rule changes; safety notices; event updates; results; administrative matters; and other information necessary to operate IRCL.
You may receive promotional communications where permitted by applicable law and subject to available communication preferences.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WAVLOZ does not guarantee that participation in IRCL will result in any particular award, ranking, qualification, sponsorship, employment opportunity, funding, recognition, or other outcome.
Competition participation involves inherent risks, including risks associated with robotics equipment, travel, venues, machinery, batteries, tools, and interactions with other participants.

The updated Terms will become effective when posted unless another effective date is specified.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to applicable mandatory legal protections.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith communication with WAVLOZ.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction and dispute-resolution mechanisms applicable under Indian law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with applicable competition rules, event-specific policies, registration requirements, and the Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Platform and participation in IRCL, except where a separate written agreement expressly applies.
